Help protect the safety of employees, students and the public – while reducing the frequency and cost of claims – by taking part in SCSBIT’s Risk Control Grants Program. SCSBIT will be awarding $1 million for the 2017-2018 school year, enabling districts to purchase products and service that help reduce risk.
This is a non-competitive grants program. Just fill out all application materials with an explanation of how your district will use the funds. In past years, districts have put grant money toward sidewalk repairs, installation of railings, and the purchase of ladders and slip resistant footwear. You know your district’s needs – so let SCSBIT aid your efforts to reduce risk and promote safety!

After completing these forms, you can return them to us either by email or by printing them out and sending them by fax or regular mail. Instructions for doing this are included with the packet.
